Belmont Park

Included unlimited-ride wrist band (daytime entry)
with the Go San Diego Card

San Diego’s only beachfront amusement center is the home of the historic Giant Dipper rollercoaster. Belmont Park was once abandoned but has been reborn as a shopping, dining, and entertainment center in the tradition of old-time family fun. Originally built in 1925, the Giant Dipper is on the National Register of Historic Places but still delights riders with more than 2,500 feet of track and thirteen heart-pounding hills. Other favorite rides include Chaos, a random three-dimensional rocking, rolling, and rotating motion; Vertical Plunge, which drops riders three stories to the ground; the new twist on bumper cars, Krazy Kars; the classic Tilt-A-Whirl; and the Liberty Carousel, an antique reproduction from the golden age of amusement parks.

Note: Height restriction on some rides. Proceed to ticket counter inside the Roller Coaster Museum/Gift Shop.

The Go San Diego Card is valid from 9:00 am–5:30 pm. During all other times, standard admission will apply.
