City Running Tours are the newest craze in the area, taking their cue from successful tours in New York, Chicago, and Washington D.C. developed by New Yorker Michael Gazaleh. Jennifer Hughes, who runs the San Diego branch, allows customers to set the pace and even personalize their itineraries.
It’s the perfect idea for health conscious travelers, where site seeing and exercise join together to make a memorable vacation.

Perched upon land overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the always has an amazing exhibit on display.
Recently, has been leaving visitors in awe. Focusing on the development of sound through contemporary art, the exhibit features everything from references in Piet Mondrian’s paintings to the sound experiments of John Cage in the 1950s and 60s, as well as the work of contemporary DJs in the nightlife world.
The museum’s website reads, “Exploring the relationship between sound and vision, the artists in Soundwaves cross genre and media in the exploration of sight, sound, and the translation of the audible into the visual.”

Here in San Diego, our whale watching season runs from December 26 - March 31st. Join for an amazing day on the water,where you’ll see California Gray Whales up close and personal.

If you’ve never been to the in Balboa Park, now’s the time to visit!
Their newest exhibit, on display until April 20, is entitled and chronicles the museum’s fascinating history. Their 44-foot atrium wall has been transformed into a literal timeline exhibition, focusing on those who got their start at the museum as well as the museum’s many achievements.
Along with the history of the MoPA, you can also learn about the major gifts and donations to the museum and the acquisition of significant pieces in the archive.
Using photographs from the museum’s own collection is certainly a beautiful way to celebrate the past and look forward to the future.

Beginning February 11, the will be offering a weekly event series entitled which seeks to bring together locals and tourists alike.
Here’s a rough outline of the schedule:
Mondays: wine tasting in Quarter Kitchen
Tuesdays: chef demonstration in Quarter Kitchen
Wednesdays: weekly card game on Eden Rooftop
Thursdays: pole dancing lessons on Eden Rooftop
Fridays: cocktail mixing demonstrations at Envy Nightclub
Saturdays: yoga on Eden Rooftop
Sundays: video game night on Eden Rooftop
All the events are free, but do require reservations. You can also thank the Ivy Hotel for trying their hardest to spice up your week!
