Now that spring has nearly sprung, San Diego is a great place to get out and see some fantastic performances. From the newly reopened Balboa Theatre to the classic Old Globe Theatre, there’s theatrical styles that appeal to everyone.

This spring, check out The Voysey Inheritance at Lamb’s Playhouse Theatre in Coronado,  The Tortoise and the Hare at the Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theatre,  the world premiere of Stay the Hand at Malashock Dance,  or the classic musical A Little Night Music at the Cygnet Theatre.

This summer brings even more wonderful performances with the West Coast premiere of Spring Awakening at the Balboa Theatre, the 2008 Shakespeare Festival at the Old Globe Theatre, Corpus Christi at the Diversionary Theatre (the nation’s 3rd oldest LGBT theatre), and The Night Watcher at the La Jolla Playhouse.

There’s plenty to enjoy, so be sure and grab a Go San Diego Card and tickets to some great shows to make your trip to San Diego complete!

    Jamie,
I LOVE Spring Awakening! I have been dying to see it, because the music is fantastic and from what I’ve heard it’s a really cutting-edge musical. Thanks for your post.
