Yet another reason to visit San Diego: Merlin Entertainment is investing more than $20 million dollars in an expansion project for LEGOLAND ® California. The park will be adding a new adventure area called Land of Adventure (set to open March 2008), as well as a separate interactive Aquarium experience called SEA LIFE. This will be the 29th SEA LIFE aquarium to open in the world, but the first in North America. SEA LIFE will be geared to children, providing interactive and educational experiences much like LEGOLAND ® California. The expansion project should be finished in the summer of 2008.

This is great news! We loved using the Go San Diego Card for Legoland and we look forward to coming back this summer. My kids loved it.

Hi John! Thanks for stopping by and I’m so pleased to hear that Legoland lived up to your expectations (and so did the GO San Diego Card) It really is a must-see attraction for those families with younger children and we all have to admit– those lego sculptures are really incredible!
