The recently expanded Museum, in the heart of downtown San Diego, features the new Joan and Irwin Jacobs Building and David C. Copley Building. It is located on Kettner Boulevard between Broadway and B Street. The downtown museum features a number of permanent commissions by artists such as Richard Serra and Jenny Holzer, large, light-filled gallery spaces in the renovated historic Santa Fe Depot baggage building, a lecture hall, and much more. MCASD presents a rapidly changing program of temporary exhibitions as well as evening programs including the popular TNT (Thursday Night Thing), the first Thursday of the month.
Note: Discounted parking is available with validation at Five Star Parking’s Columbia Garage, 501 W. C Street (C and Columbia). Two-hour metered street parking is also available.

Directions: Accessible by San Diego trolley and most downtown bus lines. From I-5 S, exit at Sassafrass. The ramp merges directly into Kettner Boulevard. From I-5 N, exit at 6th Avenue. Follow 6th for 3 blocks to Ash Street, turn right. Follow Ash Street through downtown to Kettner. Turn left. From 163 S, exit at Ash Street. Follow Ash to Kettner and turn left.
